Please Help...

us find others just like you to work as a nanny. If you have any friends, relatives, neighbors interested in finding a rewarding job caring for children, call us. When we successfully place your referral, we compensate you $75.00. Call us with the candidate's name and telephone number, or have her call us. She needs to let us know that you referred her. Our toll free number is 800-765-6269. We always have great, interesting positions available. Be certain the candidate has childcare experience beyond their own family members, is a non-smoker and has a valid driver's license.

Our nanny get together at Pizzeria Uno was a great success. Everyone had fun and walked away full of pizza! Yummy! Hope to see you next time!

Backyard Campout

  • Make your own planetarium. Carefully poke holes in the bottom of a paper cup and fit the cup over the end of the flashlight. Inside your tent, shine the flashlight at the walls. If the person with the flashlight stays inside the tent, are the stars visible from the outside too?
  • Set up a shadow play. Place a lantern or other light source inside the tent and sand between the light and the side of the tent. The show can be watched from inside or outside the tent. Use your whole body or let campers try to make shadow figures with their hands.

Even if the child is not spending the night in the tent, it is fun to go out in pajamas and play in the tent before bedtime!***

INA News

The Philadelphia Nanny Network, Inc.'s nannies, Donna Saunders and Sara Weizer, attended the INA Annual Conference in Arizona. Donna presented a workshop to nannies. Sara enjoyed the whole experience of meeting other nannies and attending the workshops. Maybe next year more nannies will be able to attend. This was the first year in 15 that I missed because my kids were going off to camp that weekend!
