Philadelphia Nanny Network was founded in 1985 as a local nanny placement agency in Philadelphia. Over 40 years, we grew from a single market into one of the largest child care staffing and placement agencies on the East Coast, serving families, nannies, and businesses across eight states. That growth came from listening to what people needed before the rest of the industry caught on. When families wanted help vetting caregivers they found on their own, we built our Screening Services. When businesses needed reliable backup care for employees, we became one of the region's largest providers. We did not just respond to the market. We helped shape it.

Our founder, Wendy Sachs, is a 2025 Association of Premier Nanny Agencies Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, a founding member and former President of the International Nanny Association, and a nationally recognized voice in the in-home child care industry. That level of expertise shows up in everything we do. We take the time to understand families before we recommend anyone. We validate nannies and handle their references with respect. We build programs for businesses that employees can actually count on. We grew into one of the largest agencies on the East Coast without losing what made us trusted in the first place: real relationships, thoughtful connections, and people who stay involved beyond the placement.
