National Nanny Appreciation Week was created by a group of dedicated industry leaders and nannies, and 20 years later, it continues to live strong in the hearts and minds of nannies across the country, and internationally.  We love our nannies and want them to know how critically important they are to parents who must work outside of the home. and, how influential they are to the children for whom they help raise.  Even though my son is 28 and my daughter is 25, I still talk with our nanny about the kids and about how to nurture them as young adults.  Who knows them better than her, she was an integral member of the parenting team.  Today, we have a newer group of “Nanny Heroes”, those who go into a different home every day and help care for children at the most stressful times in a working parents life – they need to get to work and their regular child care arrangements are temporarily suspended. Many, many thanks for all your dedication to helping grow happy families.
